Clark County

Rural Lands Study

BERK assisted Clark County’s commitment to protect rural and resource lands and promote economic development associated with agriculture and forest products. BERK evaluated economic and land use trends, and the effectiveness of existing land use policies, and other policy alternatives regarding minimum parcel sizes for agriculture and forestry lands, homesteading, clustering, transfer of development rights program, agricultural protection district, rural reserves, and current use tax program in furthering the County’s goals in rural and resource lands.
