Greenwich Library Strategic Plan and Community Survey
Working with draft material produced by library staff and members of the Board of Trustees, BERK structured the Plan around five Topic Areas and ten Strategic Initiatives. We collaborated with a core team of staff and Trustees to draft final text and create a compelling document to communicate the library’s strategy to members of the public, stakeholders and decision makers in the Town of Greenwich, and the library’s internal staff audience.
To inform the Strategic Plan, BERK designed and implemented a survey that addresses key questions, such as the role of the library in the community, priorities for resource allocation, and patron interest in potential new services. The input of non-library users was of particular interest to the Library and special care was taken to tailor questions for this audience and to solicit input from infrequent users and non-users.
