Jason Hennessy

Jason is an Associate at BERK and specializes in financial and policy analysis. Prior to joining BERK in 2015, Jason worked as a Performance Auditor at the State Auditor’s Office. As a performance auditor, he evaluated a wide-range of government policies and programs in Washington. He also served as a Job Readiness Training Center Consultant at Bates Technical College, for which he wrote the policy and procedures manual for the Worker-retraining department. He has a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and Minors in both Mathematics and Asian Studies from the University of Puget Sound.


Growing up on a farm in Eastern Washington, Jason started riding horses solo at age four. As an avid birdwatcher, Jason has been to 49 states and trekked out in the third worst blizzard in Chicago history to see a new species. Jason lives with two cats and his spouse in the heart of Capitol Hill.
