BERK Founder Retires
Passes Torch to Three Current BERK Leaders
After 25 years at the helm of one of the state’s leading strategy, planning, and policy firms, BERK Consulting founder Bonnie Berk is retiring by the end of this year.
Over the last two-plus decades, Berk and her team have been a guiding force behind some of our state’s most complex projects, policies, and economic development strategies. From transportation and education to municipal finance and land use planning, BERK has played a critical role in hundreds of public and non-profit projects across market sectors.
With Bonnie’s retirement, BERK current co-owner Michael Hodgins will be joined by new owners Allegra Calder and Brian Murphy. With more than 50 years combined experience in strategy, economics, finance, planning and policy, the team’s vision is to continue BERK’s great work and build on the firm’s stellar reputation for helping communities and organizations create their best futures.
