Strategic Plan

BERK worked with The Seattle Public Library to develop a Strategic Plan for future services. BERK designed an inclusive planning process that incorporated input from the community and key library stakeholders. We facilitated five meetings of a project Advisory Committee comprised of thought leaders of the Seattle community that helped shape the Plan and provide input on stakeholder outreach.

We engaged community members and Library staff through citywide conversations about the future of the Library, surveys, focus groups, and public forums with expert panels. We also made the Draft Plan available for review and comment. Synthesizing this broad input, BERK worked closely with the Library’s leadership team to craft an actionable Strategic Plan that defines the direction and priorities of the Library.
