NW Center ERC & Continuing Education Programs Strategic Business Planning

BERK is in the final stages of developing a strategic business plan that will align program offerings with organizational missions, constituent needs, and financial sustainability. This process is helping the Northwest Center evaluate its academic program mix, delivery options, and target audiences in the face of the potential loss of federal funding. DEOHS Continuing Education program is also a part of this process, exploring criteria for new course offerings, training modalities, and potential new funding sources. Representatives from four academic programs and continuing education are working collaboratively on determining the future of the Northwest Center and ways to cross-leverage their capabilities.

The project includes facilitation of four Project Team meetings (the Team is comprised of staff, faculty, students, and alumni); design of an information-rich map of the various programs offered by the centers; stakeholder engagement, including interviews and focus groups; financial analysis; and overall strategic business plan development.
