Seattle Public Utilities South Transfer Station

We provided public outreach support for a new transfer station in Seattle’s South Park Neighborhood. Outreach included facilitation of an active stakeholder group, numerous public open houses, participation in community events, targeted outreach to underserved populations, organizing and hosting job fairs, and providing multilingual communications for neighborhood residents and organizations. Support during construction of the South Transfer Station included coordinating groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting ceremonies. The project garnered widespread support and is now complete and fully operational. Marcia Wagoner led this effort.
