In Support of Democracy

The January 6 insurrection in Washington, D.C. was the terrifying culmination of efforts to overturn the results of the Presidential election. We strongly condemn the actions of this violent day; the undermining of American democracy by President Trump and others is unacceptable. We support a peaceful transition of power and strengthening civic engagement and democracy. This will require addressing the underlying problems of increasing inequality, declining social mobility, and entrenched structural racism that face our country.

As a firm that works closely with elected officials and public servants and believes in the important role that government plays, we express our solidarity. To everyone enduring daily hardships and personal risks to provide public services and advance the public good: thank you for your service.
