Bonnie Berk founds the firm from her kitchen table.
Mid-90s
Rebranding to BERK & ASSOCIATES, big win with the Port of Seattle.
2002
Expand Leschi office space for team of 8 and new market analysis practice.
2010
Firm moves downtown, rebrands to BERK, Lisa Grueter joins team and starts land use planning practice.
2012
BERK celebrates 25 years and Allegra Calder and Brian Murphy become Principals and owners.
2016
Lisa Grueter joins ownership team, staff increases to 24.
2018+
Firm moves to current SLU location, staff increases to 28.
