Ariel Hsieh
Ariel Hsieh is a data and research analyst with a background in economics. She specializes in analyzing large datasets using Python and Excel, and then translating that information into charts, graphs, and memos for a variety of audiences.
Prior to joining BERK, she worked at an economic consulting firm in New York and assisted professors with education and antitrust research at the Yale School of Management. She has a B.A. in Economics from Yale University and is currently on the Finance Committee for the ECOSS Board.
Outside BERK
Ariel enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading paper books from the library, listening to music, and watching heartfelt comedies. After living on the East coast for a few years, she is grateful to be back in the Seattle area where she grew up. She hopes to become closer with the family dog, Miso, as she is currently Miso’s fourth favorite human (out of four members in her family).
