Ben Han
Ben is a senior planner with more than 10 years of experience in neighborhood planning, transportation planning, and creative community engagement strategies. He has a passion for collaborating with diverse communities in creating policy and plans that reflect their voices and include actionable items to promote equitable social and economic opportunities.
Prior to joining BERK, Ben worked at various transit agencies within the Puget Sound Region, the private sector, and government agencies. Ben has a Master of City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Community Environment and Planning from the University of Washington.
Outside BERK
Ben was born in New York City, spent his teenage years in Seoul, Korea, and moved to Seattle to start his own journey. He is proud to call Seattle his home of 17 years. Outside of BERK, you’ll catch Ben in South Seattle or at his local LGS (Local Gaming Store). He’s a house plant aficionado who enjoys a range of music from disco to punk rock at the gym, cooking Korean food, and karaoke! Ben is also an amateur tarot card reader (it’s no different than planning!) and hopes to hone his urban sketching skills.
