Bellingham International Airport Master Plan Update

We helped develop and implement a strategic approach for updating the master plan for Bellingham International Airport, one of the nation’s fastest growing airports. Carriers were expanding routes and planning additional expansions in the future. We helped navigate a balance between the interests of the public living adjacent to the airport, who were directly impacted by noise and traffic, and the interests of the broader community who enjoyed the convenient travel, jobs, and the business provided by the airport. Over the course of two years, we organized and facilitated public meetings, technical advisory group working sessions, and an agency financing workshop to support development of a plan for the airport’s future.
