Ferdouse Oneza, AICP
Ferdouse Oneza brings extensive experience in local government planning, policy and regulations development and implementation, and public engagement. She has more than two decades of experience in public and private sector planning and project management. Her experience working for the City of Kennewick and running her own consulting firm deepens BERK’s existing connections in eastern and central Washington
In addition to managing her own consultancy and serving as CEO for a local non-profit organization, Oneza was the Planning Manager for the City of Kennewick. With a background and formal education in architecture, she also worked as an urban planner at LMN Architects before moving to land use planning in the public sector.
Outside BERK
Oneza grew up in Bangladesh and came to the United States via Atlanta in 2000. She moved to Washington shortly after, starting in Seattle, then the Tri-Cities for seven years, then back to Seattle where she now resides with her husband. She likes to call herself a curious student of the universe and loves to read books - philosophy is her current favorite topic. She enjoys traveling around Washington State’s diverse landscape. She also loves to paint, watch movies, and travel with her husband to significant places.
